It has taken a lot of work, (and fellowship), to get our sanctuary to its current condition.
The last tenants of this building owned a flooring store. There were multiple floorings in the sanctuary area. These pictures show the floor and the poles as they were when we came to this building. See the large covering around the posts in the picture on the left. These were removed. On the right, Jon is putting the final paint touches on the screen that will be put to good use with the Power point in Sunday School and our Worship Service.
Many members of the congregation volunteered to help paint and clean. Originally the entire room was painted an off white.
In order to set the front wall apart and create a focal point we used this soft blue/green.
One person commented that it is a worshipful color...oh, we hope so!

The outside of our building is getting a facelift, as well.
Ruth, Georgia and Mikey have been working to rid the flower beds of weeds and plant flowers to brighten up the exterior.
It is working.
We are so grateful to the Lord for His provision of this meeting place.
Our prayer is that He would use us here.
